We camped here. Pitches with their own bathroom and wash up sink made it so easy. Not all pitches have these.
Le Barcarès town has very little in it but nice to stroll up to for a meal or a drink.
There’s a huge Carrefour (think Tesco extra) about 10min drive away. Has a McDs too so if you have to bring the kids shopping there’s a treat for them in it
Beach is sandy and sea is crystal clear.
Evenings can be breezy but that keeps the temperature down.
Water slides and pool area were great with plenty of beds.
Wristbands are micro-chipped so you can load money from your phone so kids can go and order their own ice creams.

We’re not French speakers so i can’t comment on the evening activities/shows but there was always a good crowd.
Fairground across the road has good mix of rides for all ages. It stays open until 1am so the noise can make sleeping difficult. But it doesn’t lose points for that. The kids were wrecked from playing in the pool, and with a Bluetooth speaker I played a sleep track from my phone.

Our stay during the last week of October far exceeded anything I expected. The professionalism and commitment from the staff and the high quality and variety of activities and amenities made this the best holiday my family have enjoyed. A big thank you to all the staff, both front of house and those that work so hard behind the scenes to keep the facilities as clean and user friendly as possible. I can't wait to come back and experience your hospitality again.

Overall it is all in good shape and certainly it's star worth.
We appreciated the nightly message regarding opening the emergency center, the personal visit to check on any breakdowns the next morning and the focus on cleaning up the campsite. Well done.
Two things to consider mentioning are the semi permanent Luna Park which keeps you awake until after midnight and playing the same beat every evening and the other thing is that we came with a tent and the pitch ground was not leveled and with a base of small stones. An in between ground and tent mat is advisable.
Nevertheless we had a perfect time and did get used to both mentioned remarks after a couple of days.

Overall very good. Friendly staff. Great swimming pool and close to the beach. Some improvements. To access the pool area children under age of 12 are asked for adult. But ask for swimming diploma's. My daughter aged 10 is professional sport swimmer with even rescue swimming diploma. And she was sent out of the pool multiple times because of age. She can swim better and faster than most adults in the pool. So arrange special bracelets for young children that can prove they are adequate swimmers. Age is not a good criteria. Furthermore improve the marketplace. Very small assortiment. Plus improve the road crossing in front of the campside with lights or a walk bridge. Cars are sometimes driving very fast without notice of crossing a campsite.

Campsite is beautiful and well taken care of. Very cute details everywhere. General area is very windy, but all the trees in the campsite make it much better. The receptionists are extremely friendly, do their best to find a language you can understand and to provide solutions. Lovely really. The waterpark area was great the 1st week of July, not crowded at all. If your kids are under 120cm they won't be able to use the 2 big slides. Kids had a blast. We thought the campsite would be more international, but it was mostly French so kids didn't play much with others. Maybe that depends on the month. Food options were perfectly fine, but nothing special. Noise from Luna Park is true (we were in the camping pitches in the main area of the campsite), but nothing crazy. I expected worse. All adults and kids were able to sleep just fine. We initially had a plot on the other side of the campsite (across a busy road) but changed it when we arrived and saw how everything was set up. That side felt very isolated, sandy, windy and less protected from Luna Park, but we did not stay the night there. If you want beach that is the part you should stay in. If you want your kids to come and go from playgrounds and pool I don't see it doable. We gave up private WC to move to the other side. Bathrooms were close and clean, very easy to do dishes. There was never a line for showers, toilets or sinks. Worked great!
